The Parking - Transportation department at Georgia State University is seeking to hire a Van Driver .

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

This position will transport people to requested locations on campus and to shopping areas.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Drivers Panther Rider van and/or golf cart in order to transport people to designated locations across campuses and shopping areas.
  • Provide safe, reliable, and efficient transportation based on dispatched instructions.
  • Maintains professional courtesy when under stress.
  • Relieves and assists in Monitoring Center.
  • Performs minor vehicle maintenance, such as fueling, oil changes, and cleaning of vehicle and storage areas.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED and one year of related experience. Good driving record required. A valid Georgia driver's license is required.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Valid GA Driver's License.
  • Good driving record required.
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds.
  • Flexible schedule that includes nights and weekends.
