CDL Truck Driver

Job Summary:
The truck driver will be responsible for loading, binding, and hauling customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural and turf equipment. May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager.
Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the company-owned hauling equipment including but not limited to the truck, trailer, binders, chains, forklifts etc.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Able to operate a ¾ ton truck with gooseneck trailer up to a day cab semi-truck & trailer with air brakes
• Required to fill out logbook and vehicle daily inspection forms
• Maintains condition of vehicles being operated
• Maintains a clean vehicle and performs work in a neat, safe, and orderly fashion
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
• Ability to work as a team player
• Able to work overtime and on some Saturdays
• Forklift certification is preferred but not required
• Adhere to all State and Federal DOT regulations

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of related experience is required.

• Valid CDL and current health card required
• Experience operating vehicles, small construction, agricultural, and turf equipment
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
• Must be cleared by background check

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting & driving
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.
