Class A Delivery Driver

Due to rapid growth and expansion, Dennis Food Service is now accepting job applications for Class A Delivery Drivers in our Plymouth, NH market. Routes will depart and return daily from our Plymouth, NH yard location.
Candidates must have a professional appearance, be self-motivated, safety conscious, must have excellent customer service skills and must have the ability to deliver food service products in the heat of summer and the cold of winter. Our Class A Delivery drivers leave each morning and deliver frozen, refrigerated, and dry food products and cleaning supplies to our customer base of schools, hospitals, hotels and inns, restaurants, and take-outs across the State of Maine and New Hampshire. Drivers are compensated based upon the number of pieces delivered, miles driven, and number of deliveries. This is a Monday thru Friday position with optional weekend work. Our drivers return home to their families daily.
Minimum pay per day is $301.94. Full route pays an average of $320 per day.

Sign-on Bonus of $10,000 - The first half payable after one (1) year, and the second half after two (2) years of employment.
Qualified Drivers Must Have the Following:
· Current and valid CDL A Driver’s License
· Minimum one year of driving experience (preferred)
· Excellent customer service skills
· Willing to be a strong member of the team
· Have solid written and oral skills
· Able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and criminal background check
· Must be able to lift product up to 100 lbs. and lift 10 – 80 lbs. frequently
Daily Duties Include:
· Report to work on or before scheduled time
· Deliver correct product to the correct customers in a timely manner
· Maintain a working relationship with all customers and co-workers
· Report any accidents and/ or damage to Company equipment or Customer product
· Understand and keep an accurate Logbook as required by Federal DOT Regulations
· Travel all routes as scheduled
· Communicate daily with the Transportation Manager
· Act as the last line of defense to ensure that products delivered to our customers are consistent with the policies and procedures as set forth in our Food Safety Plan.

· Monday thru Friday
· Home Daily – No Nights
· Annual Work
