Class A CDL DriverJob DescriptionCDL drivers are responsible for driving and delivering structural steel to customers up to 3 hours away using a semi truck and a flatbed trailer. Candidates will be home each night with no overnight stays. Prepare and secure delivery loads, inspect the daily vehicle inspection report, and follow a planned route to the destination. The candidate is also responsible for all safety procedures regarding the vehicle.Candidates may also expect to interact with customers while dropping off loads, so being customer-facing is important.Experience tying down loads is very important. The loads they are running are full of very large, heavy, and sharp metal, so ensuring that everything is tied down correctly is crucial.
