Yard Driver (Night Shift)

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Yard Driver for our night shift. In this role, you will be responsible for safely moving trailers and containers between yard locations, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Safely move trailers and containers between yard locations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of yard trucks and trailers
• Report equipment issues and maintenance needs
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Detect, eliminate, or minimize safety hazards
• Knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection and maintenance

Qualifications:

• Pass a background and Motor vehicle check, including drug (including marijuana) and alcohol verification drug screen
• Knowledge and understanding of DOT regulations
• No Major Chargeable Accidents
• Possess Valid Class A CDL
