Pay Rate: $15.00/hr
Shift: 3rd Shift Mon - Fri (11pm - 6am)
We are seeking skilled and reliable individuals for 3rd Shift Forklift Operator positions on behalf of our client, a leading company in Early Branch, SC. This role is ideal for those who are experienced with forklift operation and looking to work in a dynamic and fast-paced warehouse environment during overnight hours.
Job Description:
As a 3rd Shift Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, and stack products and materials within the warehouse. Your role is critical to ensuring efficient and safe movement of goods, as well as maintaining the organization and accuracy of inventory.
Key Responsibilities:

• Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to move products and materials throughout the warehouse, including loading and unloading trucks, picking orders, and staging products for shipping.
• Inventory Management: Assist with maintaining accurate inventory by recording product movements, conducting regular stock counts, and reporting any discrepancies to supervisors.
• Material Handling: Ensure products are moved and stored safely and efficiently, including proper stacking and securing of goods.
• Quality Control: Inspect products for any damage or defects before and after moving them. Report any issues to supervisors.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and following operational procedures for forklift operation.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff and supervisors to meet daily production goals and ensure a smooth workflow.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or distribution center environment is required. Certification is preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods. Must be comfortable operating forklifts in tight spaces and at various heights.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency in all tasks.
• Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential for this role.
• Communication Skills: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively and communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.
• Work Ethic: Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

• Overnight shifts (hours may vary depending on production needs).
• Work in a warehouse environment, which may involve exposure to varying temperatures depending on the season.
