Owner/Operator- Delivery Driver - Small Box Trucks Wanted!!!

Pace is seeking an Owner/Operator/Independent Contractors that have 16' box trucks with liftgates (does not need to be dock high), in our Dothan, AL market. Join Pace's carrier network and grow your business with consistent, dedicated routes! You must own/lease your own trucks and have active operating authority with the FMCSA.
As a Box Truck Delivery Driver in Pace's Preferred Carrier Network, you will make deliveries consisting of office supplies on a multi-stop route in and around the Dothan market. Most routes are approximately 150-300 miles round trip and operate Monday through Friday. A typical delivery will include loading/unloading freight, delivery scanning, app usage to update your delivery statuses in real time, and getting your paperwork signed. Having excellent customer service and maintaining a high degree of safety and professionalism is a must as most of the deliveries are taking place with staff present.
Key Responsibilities for Box Truck Drivers:

• Pick up freight and deliver to designated locations.
• Follow proper SOPs for all customer deliveries..
• Operate and own a hand-truck to load/unload freight.
• Use Pace delivery app to track and document all deliveries.
• Maintain required insurance.
• Exceed customer delivery requirements and specifications.
• Represent Pace in a professional and courteous manner.
• Be presentable and provide excellent customer service to customers.

What does it take to drive with Pace?

• Have your own working vehicle.
• Meet insurance requirements. $1,000,000 in CGL, $1,000,000 in Auto, and $100,000 in Cargo
• Must meet MVR, background, and drug screening requirements.
• Must have active operating authority with the FMCSA
• Drivers must be 21 or older.
