Position Summary: As a Regional Freight Solo Driver, you will play a crucial role in transporting various types of freight across designated regional routes. Enjoy the flexibility of driving different trucking modes while benefiting from regular and irregular routes that allow you to be home usually three times per week, including weekends. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a variety of trucks, including dry bulk pneumatic tanker, flat beds, curtain sides, and van trailers.
- Transport freight across designated regional routes, adhering to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the mechanical soundness of the vehicle and report any issues promptly.
- Maintain regular communication with dispatchers to coordinate routes, delivery schedules, and any changes or delays.
- Provide exceptional customer service while representing the company on the road.
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record and at least 6 months of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Experience driving a variety of trucking modes preferred but not required.
- Ability to effectively manage time and navigate regional routes.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-centric mindset.
