ELS is hiring for the position of Forktruck Driver in Dunedin, Florida.
What you'll do:
The Forklift Driver operates and manages our marina forklift trucks to load and unload boats, personal watercraft and other materials. This position moves these items to and from the water, slip and rack storage locations, trailers and other vehicles while maintaining the highest possible safety standards.
Job Duties:

• Unload boats, personal watercraft and other materials and merchandise to and from water, slip and rack locations to other similar places.
• Occasionally Locate and move racks, lift baskets and stock of products as needed throughout the marina
• Identify and report damages, shortages and quality deficiencies as necessary.
• Inspect machinery, perform regular maintenance (e.g., recharging batteries and lubricating equipment) and determine repair needs.
• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
• Ensure a safe, efficient and injury-free working environment.

Experience & skills you need:

• High school diploma, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience driving industrial vehicles, preferably forklifts.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record and current auto insurance.
• Current certification to operate forklifts in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Strong knowledge of industrial equipment and attention to detail.
• Excellent physical condition and the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and perform tasks that require good hand-eye-foot coordination and sense of balance.
• Ability to assess and judge weights, distances and heights.
• Ability to work in various temperatures according to seasonal weather variations.
