Forklift Operator - Sawmill, Monticello, AR
Interfor is seeking energetic and enthusiastic team players to join our team as a Forklift Operator - Sawmill in Monticello, AR . Starting rate for this position is $21.33 per hour with the potential to grow based on skill level and experience.
What You'll Do
Operate a forklift in a safe and productive manner.
Maintain lumber count from green stacker.
Prepare stacker for next shift.
Remove miss sorts from packs.
Mark all lumber with correct dimensions.
Maintain housekeeping standards.
Keep constant rotation of lumber; first in first out.
Complete daily forklift inspections.
Adhere to all safety regulations.
What You Offer
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Forklift Certified or the ability to become certified within 30 days.
Knowledge of lumber by dimensions and lengths is an asset.
Commitment to maintain a safe work environment without compromise.
Recognize problems and have them corrected immediately.
Understand the importance of teamwork and have a positive impact on the team.
Open-minded and positive in dealing with change and new ways of doing things.
Able to communicate effectively with your team and other departments.
Take personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work.
