About this opportunity


We are currently looking for Driver Managers to join our team in Irving, Texas. This position can open doors to any career path in transportation. At PAM, we believe that drivers are the heartbeat of the organization and in this position, you will get a chance to learn how to work with them daily. You'll get to utilize both an operational and relational skill set as you ensure that our drivers are getting the support, they need to keep freight moving.



Pay and Schedule.


  • This position is Monday - Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm.
  • Pay: $50,0000 to $60,0000

How will you contribute to the success of the team?


  • Establish a good working relationship with assigned drivers.
  • Monitor service, track, and trace to manage on time pick-up and delivery.
  • Proactively communicate with customers regarding service delays and general questions.
  • Handle urgent situations in a professional manner.
  • All other duties and projects as assigned.



What makes you a strong candidate for this position?


  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with large volume and critical delivery parameters.
  • Ability to creatively solve problems as needed.
  • Excellent communications skills both verbal and written.
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge using AS400 (preferred).
  • Knowledge of DOT and CSA regulations
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
