Class A CDL Truck Driver

SYGMA Columbus is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves safely and efficiently transporting products from the warehouse to various customers, unloading product according to customer specifications, and maintaining food safety protocols. Responsibilities:

• Unloading and delivering product according to customer specifications
• Completing all required paperwork accurately and on time
• Maintaining food safety protocols
• Developing and maintaining good customer relationships

Minimum Education/Experience:

• High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred

Certifications:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe lifting and delivery practices
• Ability to drive a tractor-trailer unit over long distances and in varying weather conditions
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to lift, push, or move product that weighs up to 50 pounds

Work Environment:

• Opportunity to work in an overnight schedule, including weekends and holidays
