Forklift and Baggers Duties:

• Move goods around the warehouse or production facility.
• Stack goods in designated storage areas following inventory guidelines.
• Keep track of inventory and ensure items are placed in proper storage areas.
• Regularly inspect forklifts and report any malfunctions.
• Keep the work area clean and free from hazards.
• Assist with organizing the warehouse for efficient storage.
• Operate machinery to fill bags with product material (e.g., sand, grain, plastic pellets).
• Monitor weight and quantity to ensure consistent product bagging.
• Inspect bags for defects or improper sealing.
• Ensure that each bag meets the company's packaging standards.
• Ensure labels are correctly placed and include all necessary information (weight, batch, date, etc.).
• Report major issues to maintenance staff.
• Maintain records of the number of bags filled.
• Communicate production updates to supervisors.

Forklift and Baggers Shift Info:
• Temp to hire
• M-F 8:00am-5pm
• Saturdays required during busy season

Forklift and Baggers (Requirements):

• Ability to lift and move heavy bags (up to 50 lbs or more).
• Manual dexterity for operating machines and handling bags.
• Ensure that bag weights and quality meet specified standards.
• Identify and report any defects in the bagging process.
• Experience with operating bagging or packaging machines.
• Follow company protocols for safe bagging and packaging operations.
• Work closely with other production and warehouse staff.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding production targets.
• Must have proper certification from recognized safety training organizations.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation.
• Endurance to operate forklifts for extended periods.
• Strong attention to accuracy when loading, unloading, and moving products.
• Ability to avoid mistakes in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using inventory management systems.
• Basic knowledge of scanning and tracking equipment.
