Lead Software Delivery EngineerOverviewGuardian is on the lookout for a Lead Software Delivery Engineer who will be a driving force in revolutionizing our software delivery landscape. This role demands a seasoned professional with a robust background in enterprise software delivery platforms and a consistent track record in implementing effective pipeline strategies and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.You Are:As a Lead Software Delivery Engineer, you are a strategic innovator with a wealth of experience in enterprise-level software delivery.Your expertise lies in developing and implementing comprehensive application delivery and infrastructure automation strategies. With a good command of various programming languages, you are well-versed in creating efficient, scalable solutions.Your knowledge extends to leading cloud services and containerization platforms, where you apply standard methodologies to optimize development workflows. Furthermore, you possess a keen understanding of developer practices, and you are dedicated to enhancing the overall experience for developers, ensuring a productive and collaborative environment.You Have:A wealth of experience with enterprise software delivery platforms and the implementation of pipeline and IaC strategies.Mastery of coding languages such as Groovy, Python, Java, Rego and others.Expert Level knowledge on Terraform, Helm, packer and shell scripting.Experience in Automation and API development.Expert in AWS Services & container platforms like Docker, containerd, ECS and EKS, coupled with best practices in container development & deployment.Experience with Open-source container projects.Experience with on various Linux distros.Solid understanding on container security and peripherals.Experience in container observability and management tools and techniques.A deep understanding of developer practices and a passion for improving the developer experience through innovative methods and tools.Solid understanding on networking concepts.You Will:Own the charge in shaping the future of software delivery at Guardian by leveraging your expertise in enterprise software delivery platforms.Work on cutting edge software/container development and deployment tools and technologies.Implement robust pipeline strategies and IaC to streamline processes and improve efficiency.Apply your skills in AWS, ECS, EKS, and container development to advance our software delivery mechanisms.Cultivate an environment that prioritizes the improvement of developer practices and experiences.Be a part of small but SMEs team with wide range of skill from infra to app development and automation.Location & Travel:Hybrid: Two days a week at a Guardian location in Bethlehem, PA or Holmdel, NJ.Salary Range$95,060.00 - $156,170.00The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
