Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in San Francisco, CA

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - Administrative Coordinator IV
**Job Specialty:** Maternal Child Health (MCH) | Labor & Delivery (LD) - Critical Need
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** 12 hours, 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience
**License:** Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program
**Must-Have:**
- ACLS Certification
**Job Description:**
- Provide specialized care and support for expectant mothers during labor and delivery in a critical need environment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality maternal and child health care.
- Monitor and manage high-risk labor and delivery situations with proficiency and confidence.
- Execute comprehensive assessments and implement effective nursing interventions as needed.
- Document patient care plans and progress accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with both patients and their families to provide education and comfort.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of best practices in labor and delivery nursing.
- Uphold the standards and protocols of the nursing profession, adhering to all applicable policies and regulations.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
- More than five years of recent experience (must have occurred within the last two years) in Labor and Delivery.
- One year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two years.
- High Risk OB experience is preferred.
