SUMMARY
Under direct supervision, the Technician I sets up and operates environmental equipment under proper work permits across multiple service lines in a safe and efficient manner on client's job site. Technician I/Drivers drive commercial vehicles requiring a commercial A license as well as non-commercial vehicles. The Technician I/Driver must be willing to perform technician duties as well as driving duties. The Technician I will also perform other activities and tasks as needed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Essential duties may vary according to region, division, area, and/or assignment. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Drive to customer sites, set up and operate environmental equipment under proper work permits.
2. Take environmental readings frequently with the use of multiple types of environmental monitoring meters.
3. Perform preventative maintenance on various equipment, as well as improve aesthetics on vehicles and equipment on the field and at the shop.
4. Perform valve manipulation as well as moving of hoses, fittings, and various other items.
5. Adhere to the Company's Internal Control Policies and Procedures.
6. Report to the assigned Supervisor and provide status report.
7. Assist in all-hands meetings; JSS, SCAN procedures, and all safety communications.
8. Be able to operate and drive all vehicles within the Envent fleet.
9. Carry out all assigned daily work.
10. Complete all required timesheets, log sheets and customer work permits as required by the task at hand.
11. Review and understand the selection of proper equipment for the task at hand.
12. Be in constant communication with the dispatcher.
13. Perform all pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
14. Having working knowledge of equipment, trailers, lights and troubleshooting pre-trip inspection issues.
15. Maintain Commercial Driver log books in the electronic platform Envent utilizes.
16. Adhere to CDL work hour rules.
17. Maintain a current valid CDL Class "A" license and medical card at all times and not let them expire.
18. Report all accidents, incidents, and citations immediately to the assigned supervisor.
19. Comply with all company policies and procedures.
20. Learn the regulatory requirements impacting both Envent and Envent's customer.
21. Become knowledgeable in all company equipment and the uses for each.
22. Follow up with the assigned Supervisor and ensure you are doing the job correctly.
23. Attend all safety meetings.
24. Report all safety infractions or near misses, using the Stop Work Authority if you feel unsafe.
25. Know where to find and how to follow all operating procedures.
26. Know where to find and how to follow all environmental permits and regulations.
27. Maintain jobsite and yard housekeeping in a clean and orderly manner.
28. Communicate effectively to assigned supervisor, dispatcher and or safety representative.
29. Be responsive at all times to assigned supervisor and dispatcher. This may require answering the telephone during off hours, weekends and holidays.
30. Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, company policies, customer policies, and an unwavering commitment to safety.
31. Work toward successful completion of SSE program.
32. Learn how to use the electronic platforms required to operate and log.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
The Technician I/Driver position requires a high school diploma equivalent, a valid commercial (CDL), Class A driver's license and a clean commercial driver (DMV) abstract. Industry experience will be considered in lieu of a formal education record. This position requires the ability to understand basic math skills, read and interpret technical documents, follow procedures, perform all assigned duties and follow all safety procedures and requirements.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
The Technician I/Driver must have a current commercial drivers license, Class "A" from the state of residency and a valid proof of insurance. The candidate must be insurable by Envent Corporation's insurance provider. The candidate must have a valid TWIC card, or at a minimum, be eligible to get a TWIC card, HASC, RSO or comparable refinery area training card. The candidate must be able to pass the company's commercial driver DOT physical and comply with the company's and DOT's drug and alcohol testing policy.

This job will require a mixture of primarily field and shop work and limited office work. While performing the duties of this job, the Employee is regularly required to stand and walk in an office setting and/or on a field site and communicate on a telephone while meeting with others. The Employee frequently is required to sit at a desk, use fingers to operate a computer keyboard, reach for papers or books with hands and arms, climb a ladder or balance on a roof, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl to operate or view equipment. The Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

The noise level in the work environment is moderate but can be loud when working in the field.
Work environment is primarily field work. The Technician I/Driver will be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions. He or she will be in industrial plants which will expose them to potentially hazardous situations. He or she must have all necessary PPE and be prepared to use it as the situation dictates. The Technician I/Driver can be subjected to extreme heights and moving mechanical parts. 1. The position will require travel and being away overnight up to 20% to 70% percent of the time. You will be required to travel by vehicle or airline to meet and work with customers.
