Job Requirements / Description

Certification Details
- EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - PLEASE NOTE ON SUBMISSION TO PREVENT ANY DELAYS
- Effective Immediately, New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required with all Glens Falls Hospital nursing submissions.
- Check the job posting requirements for the 14 panel drug screen.
- As of 1/1/2024 - ALL new AND returning agency staff must have completed training from Welle or CPI for onboarding and clearance.
- COVID vaccinations encouraged, but not required.
Job Details
- 3-5 YEARS CURRENT EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE
- 2+ years current L&D/LDRP experience
- 2+ years Post Partum experience
- Must be able to care for laboring mothers
- Mother/Baby experience
- Epic Experience
- All certificates active & current
- Ability to read & interpret EFM
- Travel experience encouraged
Job Requirements
- Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at upload.
- RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED
- NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
Schedule Information
- Unit Details: The Snuggery, Level 1, patient census: average 90-100 deliveries per month
- EMR: EPIC
- Not required to circulate or scrub cesarean sections
- Responsible for baby in OR, and mother in PACU with a second nurse
- A shared leadership model encourages nursing engagement and decision making at the bedside
Unit Specific Information
- Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle.
- NO BLOCK SCHEDULING WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED
- Clinician MUST be reliable! No attendance concerns, call outs, etc... - very patient oriented Unit
