Forklift Operator

Staffmark is hiring a Forklift Operator in Florence, KY! If you're ready to take the next step in your career, we want to hear from you.
Pay: $18 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday
In this role, you'll be responsible for accurately transferring products in and out of warehouse locations, loading/unloading trailers, and moving products throughout the facility using powered industrial equipment. You'll also perform inventory counts and ensure products are handled safely and efficiently.
Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• At least five years of experience in a warehouse or with powered industrial lift equipment
• Ability to read, write, and do basic math, and understand written and verbal instructions in English
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and navigate high-traffic warehouse areas
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and data entry
• Ability to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret WMS order instructions
• Identify and correct potential process errors before they affect the customer
• Detect damaged products and take the appropriate action
• Accurately pull orders and stage them according to carrier location
• Verify the number of pallets picked and stage location
• Prepare receiving, storage, and shipping documentation, ensuring product accountability
• Follow safety and security policies, maintain a clean workspace, and operate forklift or other warehouse machinery as needed
