Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage functional safety activities for automotive systems and components.
  • Develop and implement safety concepts and requirements in compliance with ISO 26262 and IEC 61508 standards.
  • Perform safety analysis, including FMEA, FTA, and HARA.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety requirements are integrated into the design and development process.
  • Conduct safety assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members on functional safety practices and methodologies.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of Functional Safety fundamental concepts and an ability to independently apply them to solve novel problems.
  • A systems understanding of the vehicle-as-a-whole, including vehicle dynamics.
  • Strong knowledge of ADAS & AD features; specifically, the chains of functional & safety requirements.
  • Experience allocating system resources (Memory & CPU) and latency to each link in the chain of requirements.
