Wednesday only from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The job consists of driving vehicles from their parking spaces through the auction building where the vehicle is sold and then parked back on it's parking space.
The part time position could lead to additional days, more hours and possibly full time.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  1. Provide efficient and courteous service to all customers at all times.
  2. Always exhibit 'hands on' and direct approach with customers.
  3. Assist customers with questions and/or concerns.
  4. Ensure ashtrays are empty and trash removed from vehicles at the end of each run.
  5. Ensure vehicles are safe for operation.
  6. Ensure all fluid levels except for gas are checked and full prior to driving any vehicle.
  7. Notify Chase Van Driver/Ambassador of all fluids used to ensure completion of necessary paperwork.
  8. Ensure gas is only filled to the desired level as needed for the length of the trip.
  9. Do not operate vehicles 'hot'. Pull over if vehicle runs hot.
  10. Ensure all has been done to avoid leaving a stranded vehicle.
  11. Ensure all vehicles have windows up, keys in ignition, doors unlocked, proper stock number ticket adhered to window or fleet/lease pick-up order on dash.
  12. Ensure familiarity with routes and follow drivers in a pack. Never fall behind pack.
  13. Ensure vehicle is delivered to dealer as desired.
  14. Ensure car is parked at dealer's location where wanted, with windows up if requested and keys are in safe and secure place.
  15. Ensure cars are parked in proper location based on run in windshield on sale day.
  16. Start every vehicle in assigned lane prior to sale time.
  17. Lift hood on all vehicles that do not start.
  18. Roll down or crack driver's side window.
  19. Ensure keys are in ignition for all vehicles in your lane on sale day.
  20. Be in assigned lane prepared for sale when auction starts.
  21. Keep vehicles moving throughout the lane through the sale with all doors unlocked.
  22. Always turn right when exiting arena.
  23. Ensure the vehicle is as close to its' original spot as possible with windows up when parking it when exiting lane.
  24. Ensure accurate and timely submission of time sheet information and balance trip envelopes.
  25. Work well independently as well as a team player.
  26. Timely communication of issues that may be deemed as detrimental to the success of operations to Management.
  27. Performs other duties as necessary.

Requirements
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Previous driving or courier experience preferred. Previous customer service skills required.
  • Skills: Should be highly organized, self motivated and self disciplined. Highly customer service orientated. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Environment: The environment of the Driver involves the transportation of vehicles to and from the auction. Those working in this position are subject to temperature changes, all types of weather conditions, elevated noise levels and at times fumes and odors associated with vehicle exhaust at times
