The Dixfield Sawmill is looking to fill general Production Support jobs with reliable, hard-working individuals who have a positive attitude and are able to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Ability to identify damage or quality deficiencies of products and report accordingly
• Assist and maintain good housekeeping of the forklift and yard
• Supply production mills with the correct input materials
• Move products from production mills to storage locations for shipment
• Load and unload materials and merchandise from in coming vehicles and stack them to assigned / appropriate locations
• Have the ability to work in a team environment that is committed to working safely while focused on production

Qualifications

• Years of Experience Preferred:
  • 2-5 years of experience with some type of machinery or production-line industry; sawmill experience is considered an asset
• Safety-oriented and able to safely operate an 8" forklift
• Self-motivated
• Desire to work with the best technology in the industry
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends
