Job Description:
We are currently seeking a CDL Class A Truck Driver for over-the-road (OTR) assignments involving flatbed or step deck trailers based in Winston, GA.
Pay:

Compensation: Competitive pay starting at 27% of the gross revenue per month. Earnings increase with experience and performance. $1200-$3500 Weekly.
Safe DOT Inspection Bonus

Home Time:

Schedule: Trips last between 4 days to 2 weeks, with a minimum of 3 weeks out collectively per month required. Home time is flexible and scheduled to accommodate drivers' needs while ensuring the completion of OTR assignments.

Equipment:

Modern Fleet: 2020 and Newer Freightliner/Mack/Kenworth/Peterbilt - APU/Inverter, Fridge, XM Radio
Flatbed/Step Deck Trailers: Operate flatbed or step deck trailers, ensuring the safe transport of various types of cargo across multiple destinations.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications:

Minimum 3 Years Recent Verifiable CDL A Tractor-Trailer Experience Required *No Exceptions Due to Insurance*
License: Valid CDL Class A.
Time Management: Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, ensuring timely deliveries and efficient use of driving hours.
Communication: Strong communication skills for effective interaction with the team and dispatcher.
Load Securing: Experience in strapping, tarping, and securing all types of loads on flatbed or step deck trailers.
Physical Ability: Capable of handling the physical demands of loading, securing, and transporting cargo.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely Operate: Drive a heavy or tractor-trailer truck with a capacity of at least 40,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).
Load & Unload: Manage cargo loading and unloading using appropriate equipment and methods.
Document Activity: Maintain accurate records and activity logs.
Report Issues: Communicate any problems or incidents to dispatch immediately.
Conduct Inspections: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck.
Handle Tarps & Straps: Skilled in using tarps and straps for securing various types of loads.
