Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in San Antonio, TX

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (L&D)
**Job Specialty:** Labor and Delivery
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM with rotating weekends
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
**License:** Active Texas RN License (Temporary licenses are not accepted)
**Certifications:**
- Intermediate and Advanced Fetal Monitoring
- ACLS
- BLS
- NRP
**Must-Have:**
- Fetal Monitoring experience
- Meditech experience preferred
**Job Description:**
- Consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.
- Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate communication, confidence, and professionalism through active engagement in unit and organizational activities.
- Exhibit teamwork and adaptability, serving as a resource to the patient care team.
- Be accountable for delivering quality nursing care services and promoting a positive image of nursing.
- Procedures performed on the unit include vaginal deliveries and Caesarean sections.
- Adhere to the dress code: Navy scrub top and pants, with the option of a navy or white scrub jacket. Maintain clean and healthy nails, neat and clean hair with no extreme styles or colors, and clean and neatly trimmed beards, mustaches, and sideburns.
- Tattoos should be covered when possible, and visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited.
- Be prepared to float to other units as needed, following the hospital’s floating guidelines.
- Participate in staff orientation and adhere to the attendance policies.
