CDL Class B or D Driver

Summary
The responsibility of a the Driver is to operate a commercial motor vehicle following all DOT rules/regulations and to transport freight for interstate or intrastate commerce between terminals, from home terminal to distant point(s) and return, and from customer to customer.
Job duties & responsibilities:

• Help customers at their homes or businesses, movers prepare items for transportation to another destination
• Help prepare, load, and unload items, and some also drive the moving truck
• Safe delivery of cabinets, household goods, etc.
• Warehouse work includes, but is not limited to, lifting, moving and placing heavy items by hand or with assistance of material handling equipment such as a hand-truck or dolly
• Receiving instructions from crew leaders and adhering to all company policies and safety rules
• Working with other team members to ensure we exceed customer expectations in a professional and friendly manner
• Must have ability to work a physically demanding job that requires heavy lifting

Requirements

• Professional attitude, demeanor and strong work ethic
• Experience as a mover, driver, general labor, landscaping, construction or warehouse helpful

Requirements for Drivers:

• Must possess CDL Class B or Class D License
• Good driving record
• Stamina to lift heavy items (100 lbs or more) repeatedly while climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, walking, etc.
• Good hand-eye coordination

Hours: Monday-Friday; with occasional Saturdays
