Lowboy Truck Driver for operations in the Monroe, LA area.

Job Duties:
- Operating, loading/unloading a lowboy, using a high degree of skill and adherence to safety.
- Proper tie down and transportation of equipment.
- Adhering to FMCS regulations and company policies related to safe and courteous driving
- Performing PRE/POST trip inspections accurately; and working with mechanics and management to ensure timely repairs and maintenance
- Keeping vehicle clean, safe and operational as per regulations
- Performing manual tasks, along with other members of the crew, to achieve company efficiency and production goals.
- Following all safety policies and PPE use
- The position requires both driving and physical work to support road construction crews, completing other assigned tasks
Safety Requirements:
- Ability to work outdoors in high heat
- Ability to lift and carry weights up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to walk and stand on uneven surfaces
- Prolonged sitting
- Ability to operate assigned vehicle safely
- Ability to read, see and understand signs, signals, commands, instruction and safety policies
Experience/Skills Required:
- Must have minimum of 5 yrs. CLD driving experience.
- Must have previous lowboy experience along with heavy equipment operation experience
- Travel required
- CDL license must allow for travel between states
- Must have a valid driver's license Class A and a good driving record. X endorsement is preferred but not required.
