Job Description:

Job Title: Workday Delivery Lead or Engagement Manager
Job Location: Chicago, IL / Columbus, Ohio
Job Description: Capgemini is seeking a Delivery Lead or Engagement Manager with strong experience in delivering Workday projects.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage Workday HR projects.
  2. Build and support new integration from and into Workday.
  3. Oversee integrations, configuration, and data conversion activities.
  4. Develop project plans and schedules, ensuring adherence to scope and timelines.
  5. Facilitate requirements gathering and translate business needs into technical specifications.
  6. Continually assess action items, risks, issues, and dependencies and take ownership towards mitigation/resolution.
  7. Facilitate meetings across cross-functional project teams, collaborating and coordinating with multiple stakeholders within the Workday ecosystem, other business teams, and external vendors.
  8. Manage stakeholder communications and present project status updates.
  9. Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and lead post-implementation support.

Required Skills:

  1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
  2. 8-10 years of relevant Workday HCM experience, including experience leading HCM projects through various workstreams.
  3. Strong understanding of Workday and experience leading HCM development projects end-to-end as well as post go-live support.
  4. Proficiency in MS Office, including intermediate Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, v-lookups).
  5. Strong attention to detail driving data integrity and accurate reporting.
  6. Collaborative working style with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  7. Proven experience in Workday HR development projects.
  8. Strong project management skills with experience in SDLC.
  9. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and risk management abilities.
  10. Experience with HR processes and tools such as JIRA is a plus.
