Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Redwood City, CA

**Job Title:** Maternal Child Health Registered Nurse (RN)

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** 12-hour shifts from 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:**
- 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in Labor and Delivery
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
**License:**
- Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (ANRP)
**Must-Have:**
- ACLS certification
**Job Description:**
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit.
- Assess and monitor patients during labor and provide support and education during the delivery process.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures, and offer high-quality care in line with best practices in maternal and child health.
- Demonstrate excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills in high-risk labor and delivery situations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor and delivery protocols and participate in ongoing professional development activities.
