They are responsible for providing office support to a client, business function or individual contributor.What You’ll DoPick up, sort, and deliver incoming and interdepartmental mail to ensure timely distribution.Keep travel logs and service records.Maintain a clean vehicle and perform vehicle inspections. May perform miscellaneous errands.Check daily and replenish all mail and postage supplies.Keep records of sent and received mail.Prepare envelopes and packages.Ensure all shipped packages are adequately protected against damage.Apply appropriate postage amounts and required identification to outgoing mail and packages.Use existing procedures to tackle straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and mentorship.What You’ll NeedHigh School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience. Driver’s License required.Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.Solid understanding of Microsoft Office products. The minimum salary for the Mail Room Clerk/Driver position is $24.04 per hour and the maximum salary for the Mail Room Clerk/Driver position is or $25.01 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
