Job Summary:
CDL DRIVER CLASS A/Laborer will be responsible for hauling aggregate (stone), clay, dirt, concrete or asphalt from job site to job-site or material source to job- site location. Must be willing to do on the site labor.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliable transportation to report to work
- CDL REQUIRED CLASS A
- Physically fit to perform job labor functions including the ability to stand, squat, bend, lift, and walk for long durations
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) as a pre-screen requirement
- Previous construction or physical job experience preferred
- Able to communicate effectively and work in stressful situations
- Ability to listen and take direction from others.
- Willingness to be a team player and help train less experienced employees
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
- Collect and verify delivery instructions.
- Report defects, accidents, or violations.
