Responsibilities:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Diversicare, you will have the opportunity to:

Work collaboratively with a team of passionate healthcare professionals to provide exceptional daily care to our patients and residents, Deliver safe and compassionate bedside care and assistance with unwavering integrity.

VanDriver:

 

1. Assure the safety of each resident when transporting to and from the doctor’s office and/or hospital.
2. Accompany each resident on all medical visits. Stay with resident(s) until visit is complete.
3. Observe the following guidelines at each visit:
     a. Sign in resident upon entrance.
     b. Present resident’s documents to office personnel.
4. Before leaving doctor’s office, please observe the following:
     a. Obtain resident’s documents.
     b. Obtain any new prescriptions.
     c. Check to make sure doctor has written on the doctor’s order form.
     d. If follow-up appointment necessary, obtain appointment cards.
5. After returning to facility, report to RCM and be prepared to answer questions concerning visit.
6. Performs other duties as required and assigned.

 

Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, you should have:

Certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state

Excellent verbal communication skills

Proficiency in reporting with accuracy.

Physically able to help ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents transfer to and from wheelchair to vehicle.

Possess a valid state driver’s license.

Clean driving record.

Clean criminal record.

Any other state required certifications.
