Moving Driver/Team Lead

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting household goods and materials safely and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to handle physical demands associated with loading and unloading cargo.

Duties

1. Safely operate vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
2. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials.
3. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
4. Maintain accurate delivery records and logs as required.
5. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
6. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
7. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management.

Qualifications

1. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
2. Experience with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
3. Previous experience in moving or commercial driving is a plus.
4. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required.
5. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
6. Must be able to work flexible hours, including potential overtime.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
