We are seeking a motivated and reliable Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. This full-time position in a cold storage facility that offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, with the opportunity to operate material handling equipment to receive, select, load, and palletize products accurately and efficiently using RF and Voice technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment, including electric forklifts and pallet jacks, to load and unload trucks.
Inventory Management: Accurately receive and enter inbound materials into our warehouse management software. Select and load outbound products in a timely manner.
Product Rotation: Properly rotate and replenish stock as needed.
Compliance: Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Safety Requirements.
Additional Duties: Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum of one year of experience operating an electric forklift and pallet jack.
Skills: Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems to fill and receive orders and conduct accurate inventory. Strong attention to detail, self-starter, and basic computer skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to repeatedly lift, push, pull, and reach above shoulder height heavy objects weighing up to 60 pounds. Ability to work in cooler and freezer environments with temperatures ranging from 35 degrees to minus 10 degrees. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, weekends, and various shifts, as well as overtime as needed.
