This role can sit anywhere in the US as long as it is near an Accenture Corporate Office.
You are a big-picture strategist with expertise in the digital solutions that can help clients do more. You are as good with people as you are with project solutions, comfortable visiting with clients for meetings and workshops and communicating and sharing ideas with the C-suite. The work:
In your role within our Industry X team, you’ll work within our Digital Manufacturing & Operations practice, helping clients bring digital transformation to capital projects, engineering, and manufacturing in the Products, Communications, Media, High-Tech, Aerospace & Defense, Chemicals, Mining, Oil & Gas, and Utilities industries.
As an Industry X Capital Projects Consulting Manager you will:
- Identify strategies for growth and value creation within Industry X and for our clients.
- Interact with senior management levels at a client and within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters.
- Work with clients to assess their current and desired capability maturity, and develop innovative solutions to drive success.
- Become a champion of Industry X integrated workforce solutions, tools, and platforms.
- Transform organizations to digital processes and tools.
- Stay up to date on industry competitive landscape and technology.
- Analyze clients’ strategy, operating vision, business needs, and capabilities.
- Build relationships with ecosystem partners, clients, and stakeholders.
- Manage engagement teams in support of the delivery of projects across our services including Strategy & Consulting and Technology Consulting.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to business development.
- Leverage personal and collective team subject matter experience to drive leading practices-based outcomes.
- Be responsible for the day-to-day delivery activities of our projects including budget, cost performance, and project delivery.
- Recruit, train, and mentor junior professionals within Industry X.
- Work in a quick, agile growing practice while still working within Industry X’s overall sales parameters.
- Assist and collaborate with Industry X leaders to prepare RFP responses, pricing, and budgetary proposals.
- Track all activity related to your opportunities sales processes.
- Maintain a flexible travel schedule.
Job Requirements:
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business needs and client requirements.
Here’s what you need:
- Bachelor’s Degree, or 6+ years professional work experience in a related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in Project Management/Project systems including Oracle Primavera, Hexagon AIL, E-Builder, Kahua, or similar technologies.
- Minimum 5 years of Functional experience with capital project execution systems such as Portfolio, Engineering Data, Construction or Maintenance Management solutions.
- Minimum 5 years Experience in capital projects management, asset management, construction execution, project management, and/or project controls.
Bonus points if:
- Excellent communication, mathematical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Teams/SharePoint, Projects, PowerPoint, Word.
- You have experience with Oracle Analytics, Primavera Analytics, PowerBI, Tableau, or similar technologies.
- You have 5+ years of relevant consulting experience.
- You have industry certifications such as CCM, CCE, PSP, EVM, PE, PMP, AIA, or QS.
