- Acknowledgement of Pass-Fail Testing
- State License 1 Verification
- NIH Stroke Certification
- Pass-Fail Testing (EKG/Medication)
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
- Competency Exam
- Core Part I, II, III
Certification Details
- Must be experienced L&D but also capable of working postpartum and nursery, 350 deliveries a year, small unit all nurses are cross trained to all areas of OB
- 3x12hr Days. Float required. Every other weekend.
- Ratios: Days - 1:3, Nights - 1:2, Weekends 1:6
- Previous Charge exp preferred
- Unit DOES NOT accept 1st timers
- Work settings include Antepartum, Facility births/month >300, Labor and Delivery, High Risk Antepartum, Level I Nursery, LDRP, Mother/Baby
