Position Overview:
As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building and nurturing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets across your designated region. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you'll work closely with the marketing, product, and technical teams to develop strategic sales plans and provide exceptional service to your clients. This is a remote/field-based role with travel within your territory as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to grow market share and achieve sales goals across North Carolina and surrounding areas.
- Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and relationship building.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, providing ongoing support and consultation to maximize customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to stay updated on new product releases, industry trends, and competitor activity.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and activity reports to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Represent the brand at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to increase visibility and strengthen the company's market position.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in material handling, industrial equipment, or related industries.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets within a designated region.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Self-motivated and highly organized, with the ability to manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Willingness to travel within the territory as required.
- Competitive base salary plus commission. OTE $150,000
