Overview:
Drives a light vehicle, such as a truck or van, delivering commercial equipment and furniture to accomplish move projects to offices, industrial sites, laboratories.
Responsibilities:- Responsible for transport of commercial equipment and furniture from origin to destination.
- Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition.
- Actively participates in moving materials, equipment, furniture and managing packing and crating of valuables and hard-to-move items.
- Responsible for accurate and complete transactions on all paperwork; securing signatures, collection of payment, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Maintains clean driving record and abides by all laws governing vehicle safety.
- Inspects truck for defects before and after trips, submits report indicating truck condition.
- Executes activities as assigned by Dispatch, immediately reporting any routing or service changes encountered.
- Active Driver's License
- Must pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- 1+ year of experience driving box or straight truck
- Capable of lifting up to 80lbs
