SVB Solution Sales & Delivery, Director

Overview

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.

The Director, Solutions Sales & Delivery, will play a critical role as part of the AG Tech & Life Sciences leadership team. Your job will be to lead a team of dynamic Solutions Advisors focused on the payments and integration needs of this sector of the bank's clients. You are responsible for ensuring the team retains and drives revenue growth across each of our markets nationwide. You'll collaborate with other leaders on the Relationship, Credit and Product teams to remove obstacles to growth and drive process improvement to allow your team to thrive. The ability to lead your team effectively and work with colleagues cross-functionally is essential to meeting our revenue goals and KPIs. The role requires a leader with vision in the Payments space and a proven track record in coaching diverse teams to successful outcomes.

• Understand the full suite of SVB's payments products and services - with a focus on technology-forward payment solutions - and be able to handle client escalations.
• Assess your team's needs and coach them on effective sales strategies to meet their individual performance goals.
• Benchmark against the competition to ensure a current understanding of the market with your team and feedback information to our Product areas.
• Review your team's client portfolio activity and results to actively manage performance and deliver feedback in an effective manner.
• Play a part in staffing and resource allocation based on anticipating the current and future needs of the team and any client trends.

Qualifications

• Related experience in the Payments/FinTech industry, with either a Product or Sales focus. Strong aptitude for payment and technology solutions. Once onboard you will be provided with a thorough knowledge of SVB's bank operations, platforms, and products.
• Skilled in crafting effective communications to all levels of seniority. The ability to effectively communicate your ideas and thoughts via written and verbal channels.
• The ability to work and think independently and strategically is critical. This is not a linear role. Strong organizational and time management skills are required. Multi-tasking and prioritization skills are critical to monitor and engage with the multiple projects and colleagues.
• Skilled in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint enabling you to download & sort information, look for analytic value and present ideas in a simple but effective format.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6+ years of experience OR High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 10+ years of experience.

For NY & CA the base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally $163,000.00 - $203,800.00 per year.

Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
