Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Neptune, NJ

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)
**Job Specialty:** Labor & Delivery (L&D) with Circulation in Operating Room (OR) and Postpartum care
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, every other weekend, with 3 out of 6 holidays required
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum experience not specified
**License:** NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
**Certifications:**
- Required: Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (BLS-AHA), LDRP training
- Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Association of Women's Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN), or Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
**Must-Have:**
- Ability to circulate in the OR for cesarean sections
- Skill in providing newborn care
- Experience managing patients on Magnesium Sulfate
**Job Description:**
- Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs
- Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans for assigned patients
- Initiate assessments based on patient problems or needs, physician medical diagnoses, and functional health frameworks
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care
- Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities
- Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery
- Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
