The Role


We are looking for candidates in the Cleveland area. This role is on par with a Director, Client Delivery, Talent Acquisition position.

This role is a hybrid opportunity requiring the individual to work onsite hybrid at the AMS Cleveland office.

The Account Dedicated Performance Senior Manager will analyze the Client Services Team’s (CST) delivery against key performance metrics to optimize operational performance and ensure contractual SLAs are met. The primary focus for this role is driving continuous improvement and productivity through reporting analysis. Additional accountabilities include financial planning, compliance and development of team members. In this role you will be responsible for a large account spread across multiple geographies and service lines with a complex commercial structure.

The Account Dedicated Performance Manager will work within large, matrix international teams in a highly regulated environment. They will report into the Regional Head of Performance, or Improvement Program Manager working closely with the Client (Operations) Director and other CST leaders to enable operational excellence and innovation on the account.

Key Accountabilities


  • Liaise with senior contacts within the client to develop and maintain business plans, recruitment plans, and organizational structures.
  • Hold sound knowledge of recruitment model options and design to promote the benefits of an RPO solution.
  • Solid understanding of the contract and managing the scope, governance, and compliance of the contract through team activity.
  • Develop SLAs, targets, and budgets (i.e., around: effectiveness, timeliness, candidate quality, delivery of recruitment services & customer satisfaction).
  • Lead teams (Managers or direct reports) in the delivery against targets, budgets, and SLAs.
  • Manage senior stakeholders in fast-moving, complex, and difficult client environments enhancing AMS’ reputation within the business.
  • Support the Managers in the resolution of complex and contentious situations / issues with clients.
  • Use data appropriately to make sensible decisions with both the team and the client.
  • Responsible for spotting business development opportunities and engaging with the Client Director.
  • Custodian of the client’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP).

INNOVATION

  • Analyze performance drivers and develop account-specific Continuous Improvement plans with CST leaders; identify opportunities for metric-led continuous improvement within the account and agree with CST leaders how best to achieve them (including automation, improvements to standard processes and methodologies, sharing of best practice, opportunities to extend scope of service or use Talent Collective related to CI initiatives).
  • Support implementation of AMS-wide innovation initiatives.
  • Performance support of account-specific transformation projects and implementation of new technologies and processes by liaising between the CST and technical specialists and consultants. Monitor impact of changes and support the successful outcome.

OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE

  • Track the account’s Key Performance Indicators and analyze data to identify trends and issues.
  • Ensure CST leaders and Recruiters are equipped with best practice tools and processes to monitor KPIs in line with contractual requirements.

COMPLIANCE

  • Custodian of the account’s process documentation including operations manuals, process flows, screening templates etc. Responsible for ensuring these are regularly updated and used by everyone in the CST.
  • Responsible for change control and contract management for the account. Ensure change control governance is in place where there is no dedicated compliance resource.
  • Evaluate compliance risks associated with operational performance of in-flight solutions and flag significant risks to CST leadership.

FINANCE

  • Review and co-create financial forecast and associated materials.
  • Responsible for the P&L.
  • Attend financial reviews with FBP to provide insights on root causes to variances.
  • Accountable for invoicing activity for the account, maintaining a robust audit process and flagging credit control issues to Finance when necessary.
  • Drive roll-out of initiatives due to changes in regulations flagged by team.
  • Ensure alignment between CST and PM CoE members on account regarding SLAs and targets - including budget contribution, effectiveness measures, timelines, candidate quality, delivery of recruitment services and customer satisfaction.
  • Partnership with the Finance Business Partner.
  • Participate in the development and validation of financial and volume forecasts.
  • Prepare for and attend monthly internal account performance review meetings.
  • Identify variance between planned and actual.

Skills & Experience


  • 5+ years experience leading recruitment teams (management and development).
  • Overall 10 plus years experience - on par with a Director level opportunity.
  • Experience managing/ownership of the P&L.
  • Strong Stakeholder management experience.
  • Experience of managing large teams with a mix of direct and indirect reports.
  • Excellent at using data to tell a story.
  • Excellent people skills (external and internal).
  • Financial Services “nice to have”.
  • Thorough understanding of legislation affecting area of work (e.g., age discrimination, employment risks for contractors) and ability to guide and advise clients on legislation.
  • Experience working to and achieving demanding targets, ratios and SLAs and working to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experienced at producing business orientated management information and interpreting this to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
  • Subject matter expertise, knowledge of local recruitment practices along with the ability to use market intelligence and analyze market trends to provide insights to clients.
  • Deep knowledge of more than one market sector.
  • Strong understanding of contracts, financial levers, governance frameworks, business assurance and controls.
  • Track record of managing complex, high-profile recruitment projects and multiple campaigns.
  • Experience in the use of recruitment technology and recruitment databases.
  • Recognized as a ‘trusted advisor’ by senior stakeholders and HR / Resourcing leads.
  • Ability to liaise with and influence all levels of management to agree a change of direction or new process.
  • Experience of managing, coaching, and developing people managers.
  • Experience of developing and delivering recruitment strategies and processes to improve outcomes (e.g., decreased time to hire, increased quality of hire).
