We’re looking for a seasonal driver to fill a 6+ month assignment to start in November-$25.50/hr
Position Summary:
Our drivers are some of the best in the business. For this role, we are looking for responsible, motivated drivers with clean and safe driving records that demonstrate stability and consistency. Our drivers are trained to run Bulk and BBQ cylinder and forklift cylinder propane deliveries. They are dedicated professionals possessing a positive work ethic and exceptional communication skills, taking pride in what they do each and every day. Essential responsibilities will include but not be limited to :
Safe, punctual, consistent and reliable deliveries of propane to residential and commercial customers.
Participating in and completing all required industry compliance and company training.
Providing courteous and efficient customer service, reinforcing our commitment to service.
Ensuring that vehicle preventive maintenance schedules are being performed and adhered to as required.
Performing the necessary vehicle and trailer inspections as required.
We’re looking for the following abilities and skills:
A minimum of 1-year Class B CDL experience preferably in delivery of bulk propane, fuel oil or other hazardous materials.
A current, valid CDL License which must contain valid Hazardous Materials (H) and Tank Vehicle (N) endorsements.
License may not contain any Air Brakes (L) or (Z) Restriction(s).
Clean and safe driving record in full compliance with all DOT licensing requirements.
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions.
Mechanically inclined skills (preferred but not required):
Experience with hand tools, power tools and test equipment.
Basic troubleshooting, problem solving and diagnostic skills.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds at times throughout the day as well as bend, climb, reach, stoop & twist.
Detailed work ethic, be enthusiastic, committed, proactive and resourceful; effectively gets the job done.
Ability to communicate effectively in a positive and thoughtful manner with customers and co-workers.
A passion for excellence with a customer service focus coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
Multiple Shifts available. (We seek drivers with flexibility for overtime and on-call assignments as needed).
