Certification Details
- LDRP RN specialty
- Expectation to jump in quickly for first-time travelers
- Must be comfortable with a range of obstetric & postpartum scenarios
- Profile review and managerial interview process
Job Details
- Must have 3 years of experience in LDRP
- Able to titrate drips
- Comfortable scrubbing in as needed
Job Requirements
- Rotational shifts 7a-7p, 7p-7a scheduled 6 weeks in advance
- Weekend requirements every third
- Holiday requirements as needed
Schedule Information
- 7 L&D beds
- 12 Postpartum, 8 Surgical beds
- 1 C-Section dedicated OR, 2 GYN surgical ORs
- 3 bay triage (avg 17 patients/month)
- 643 births annually
- 1:1-2 ratio L&D, 1:2-3 couplets, 1:3-4 surgical/medical ratio in Postpartum
- Experience with OB, L&D, antepartum, triage, postpartum, handling higher-risk patients
- Charge nurse available on each shift, may take assignments and attend deliveries for APGAR scores
- Anesthesia and OB/Neonatologist on call 24/7
- Experience with a range of medications and familiarity with EFM System details
- 2x12hr shifts of unit/department-specific orientation
Unit Specific Information
- 50 mile radius rule applies; can't be associated with any CommonSpirit facilities on a full-time, part-time, or PRN basis
- RTO needed upfront, and no additional RTO approved after submissions
