At Engineering & Property Services (E&PS), we provide end-to-end services from Real Estate, Engineering & Strategic Project Delivery to Facilities Management.

The Director, Project Management is accountable for the performance of multiple complex projects, leading through Flawless Project Execution, oversight, and flexible application of Project Delivery Processes.

This role is responsible for managing project progress, finding solutions to key problems, and communicating project progress and issues to management and the project team, as well as training and mentoring Project Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leads and directs projects end to end through Ideation, Design, Execution, and Assessment.
2. Establishes effective working relationships with all Business Partners.
3. Communicates with the Sponsor and Key Partners on all aspects of projects.
4. Plans, tracks, and reports against project Key Deliverables and Final Project Objectives.
5. Develops Key Performance Indicators and plans for continuous improvement.
6. Leads the intake of new projects and preparation for Stage Gates.
7. Manages risk, evaluates, eliminates, or mitigates risks to Final Project Objectives.
8. Coordinates project-related activities and ensures the project remains on plan.
9. Leads Change Identification and requests for changes.
10. Conducts Project Close Out activities.
11. Undertakes Learning and Development to ensure Highly Capable Leadership.
12. Evaluates the value delivered versus the value identified in the Business Need.

Qualifications

Education:

University/Bachelors or equivalent degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management required. Masters Degree preferred.

Experience and Skills

Required:

• Minimum of ten to twelve (10-12) years of relative business experience and project and operations management.
• Prior experience managing complex capital projects (up to $100MM).
• High technical knowledge to understand complex technology-based issues.
• Highly skilled in leading remote and virtual teams.
• Full working knowledge of Project Controls in cost and schedule development.
• Manufacturing experience in FDA or other regulated environments.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with J&J Project Management approaches (FPX & Project Delivery Process).

Other:

Must be proficient in English, both verbal and written. This position requires up to 60% domestic and international travel. Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent required.

Compensation and Benefits:

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $142,000 to $244,950. This position is eligible for an annual performance bonus and various employee benefit programs.
