Truck Driver

SUMMARY: Operates tractor trailer, usually pre-loaded by shipping/receiving, over a route assigned by Distribution. Drives tractor/trailer rigs. CDL Class A license required.
DUTIES/FUNCTIONS (included but not limited to):
• Loads, unloads and delivers product according to customer specifications.
• Maybe required to deliver product to customer cooler.
• Checks cargo of truck and secures same
• Completes all necessary paperwork.
• Cooperates with distribution employees/
• Be willing to accept alternate assignments.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Possess CDL A Commercial Driver's license.
• Aware of all safety procedures.
• Can properly fill out all required documentation.
• Have a complete understanding of the schedule.
• Must be capable of adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
SQF REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support SQF by maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work are in a sanitary manner.
• Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
