Job Description for: Lift Truck Operator - Central Distribution Center
Summary:
The Lift Truck Operator is responsible for operating MHE, including but not limited to Forklift, Clamp, High Reach, Order Picker and Electric Pallet jack. The Lift Truck Operator is responsible for operating and managing industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks. Responsible for identifying damages, report shortages and quality deficiencies. The Lift Truck Operator is responsible for complying with company policies and guidelines and assisting in keeping a safe environment. The Lift Truck Operator should have a strong knowledge of industrial equipment and strong physical abilities and stamina. The Lift Truck Operator is responsible for maintaining current trainings and certifications for all equipment and machinery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate MHE, including but not limited to Forklift, Clamp, High Reach, Order Picker and Electric Pallet jack.
- Picks and packs outbound orders.
- Wrap and stage outbound orders for shipping.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Put away received goods.
- Identify damages.
- Report shortages.
- Report quality deficiencies.
- Inspect machinery and equipment.
- Maintain bulk storage locations.
- Performs annual Inventory counts.
- Keep updated records of inventory.
- Comply with company policies and guidelines.
- Assist in keeping a safe environment.
- Should have excellent attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of industrial equipment.
- Very good physical abilities and stamina.
- Excellent coordination and manual dexterity.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Operate adequate equipment necessary from performing any warehouse duties, including but not limited to a Forklift.
- Maintain appropriate trainings and certificates to operate any equipment in warehouse, including but not limited to a Forklift.
- Any other duties and responsibilities asked of by the Warehouse Manager.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Operate adequate equipment necessary from performing any warehouse duties, including but not limited to a Forklift.
- Maintain appropriate trainings and certificates to operate any equipment in warehouse, including but not limited to a Forklift.
- Very good physical abilities and stamina.
- Excellent coordination and manual dexterity.
