**Job Title:** Registered Nurse
**Job Specialty:** Labor and Delivery
**Job Duration:** 8 Weeks
**Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
**Guaranteed Hours:** Traveler can be called off 1x per pay period / 1x per 2 weeks. Remaining shifts guaranteed
**Experience:** 2 Years
**License:** Pending license accepted
**Certifications:** COVID-19 Vaccine not required, Flu Vaccine status unknown
**Must-Have:** Experience in labor and delivery, EPIC charting experience
**Job Description:**
- Provide care in a labor and delivery unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:1 for labor and 1:3 for postpartum.
- Ability to work every other weekend as required.
- Open to first-time travelers; travelers must be non-local, residing over 50 miles from the facility.
- Floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals may be expected; refusal to float can result in contract termination.
- Orientation consists of 40 hours and is required before starting.
- Adhere to a flexible schedule including holidays where staff will work at least 3 of the following: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.
- Compliance with module completions pre-start and annually, approximately 16 non-billable hours.
This role provides the opportunity to work in a short-term acute care facility with a supportive team and professional growth in labor and delivery nursing. Ensure all scheduling requests and days off are submitted upfront as post-submission requests may not be accommodated.
