The Driver delivers vehicles and in some instances, customers, employees or vendors safely and timely to the appropriate destination(s) while giving helpful, courteous and professional customer service.The starting rate of pay is $17.60 / hour. This position is located at 3125 Veterans Memorial Hwy Suite 2 Ronkonkoma, NY 11779.The start date for the season is on or after August 15th and ends January 15th and cannot exceed 150 days.The schedules available are:Schedule 1: Tues/Weds/Thurs 7am-3:30pmSchedule 2: Tues/Thurs/Fri 7am-3:30pmSchedule 3: Weds/Thurs/Fri 8am-4:30pmResponsibilitiesThe Driver is responsible for the transporting of fleet cars and vans to and from rental locations, as well as navigating written directions.Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed, following all rules of the roadDeliver customers and vehicles to appropriate destination in a safe and courteous mannerRide with or follow another driver to drop off vehicle(s) or pick up multiple vehiclesOrganize travel route and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timelyMay need to communicate via 2-way radio or cellular phoneMay be asked to clean vehiclesPerform miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedEqual Opportunity Employer/Disability/VeteransQualificationsMust be at least 18 years of ageThe ability to operate a motor vehicle is an essential function of this position.
