Technical Execution Lead Responsibilities
As a fully engaged technical execution lead, the Product Tech Driver defines and communicates a shared technical vision and helps the Product Business Owner make final calls daily around what work in Capabilities and Features needs to be done next.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading overall technology strategy and governance for the product, in collaboration with technical and architectural stakeholders
- Defining and communicating a shared understanding of the objectives of an initiative
- Driving decisions on what scope is in vs out of each initiative
- Assisting the product owner in sequencing deliverables & work (i.e., features)
- Ensuring adherence to cost guardrails by balancing capacity, resourcing, scope, and technical needs
- Ensuring continuous technical delivery of the most valuable product capabilities, managing risks and dependencies
- Defining and communicating the technical vision with technical enablers to achieve it
- Ensuring the 52-week Product Level CBE is updated with key milestones in collaboration with the Product team
- Championing good data hygiene for feature self-assessments and the activity dashboard (backlog health, Feature Cycle Time)

This role works with:
- Platform owners, architects, and developers for technical and solution guidance
- Tech Product Owner for technical vision and supporting artifacts
- Product Business Owner/Product Managers for feasibility of initiatives and managing within budgets
- Team coaches for team deliverables
- Portfolio Tech Driver for technical escalations and alignment on 52-week CBE
- Agile coaches to sync on adopting and implementing agile principles
- Tech & Enterprise Program Management
Systems & Tools Interaction:
- Planview for Capability Creation, Feature and Capability Mapping, Dependency Tracking, and Quarterly Planning
- JIRA for Feature Creation and Team Planning and Tracking
- Write access to AgilePlace for Quarterly Planning and Tracking
