Your Role
Delivery Drivers play a critical role in the success of our business as a key point of contact for our customers. The target is to ensure customer service excellence by delivering orders safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Duties and Responsibilities
Pulls assigned orders, has orders double checked for accuracy,
Safely loads order on vehicle for delivery, safely drives route,
Upon arrival at destination unloads product.
After returning from deliveries turns in paperwork.
Keeps records to comply with DOT regulations.
Responsible for complying with all DOT, OSHA, and Grabber Safety Standards.
Responsible for monitoring vehicle condition and reporting service needs to the Branch Operations Manager.
Provides support to Warehouse and Sales Team.
Interacts with customers and Branch staff during deliveries.
Delivers product on a company vehicle as assigned.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Qualifications
Valid Class B CDL Driver’s License
Physical ability - Lift and carry capabilities 40lbs
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Familiarity with using navigation systems
Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination
Work Conditions
Long periods of driving and sitting in a delivery vehicle
Use of warehouse equipment and vehicles
Warehouse and outside
Lifting capabilities 40lbs
Directly with customers
Safety Responsibility
This position assumes responsibility for the workplace safety of self and co-workers, and for the safety conditions of the work location, exercises and promotes safe behaviors and shows unyielding support of programs, rules, and policies regarding safety.
