From importing wind energy components to deploying leading-edge solar technology to help power terminal facilities, we are committed to continually evolving to meet our customers' changing energy needs.Sprague is seeking a Truck Driver to join the Lawrence Operations team to deliver petroleum products to our customers via heavy commercial vehicle in the tri-state area (NYC, Long Island, Westchester, Connecticut and New Jersey).Your responsibilities will include:Delivering petroleum products from location to location via heavy commercial vehicleLoading petroleum products onto the vehicle (may involve climbing ladders, walking on top of a vehicle, and moving oil chutes)Off loading petroleum products at customer locations (may require same skills as mentioned above and /or carrying/pulling a hose)Reconciling truck shipping and loading documents including DOT documents (i.e., timesheets and pre-trip inspection sheets)Qualified candidates for this role will have the following:CDL A with Hazmat Endorsement requiredAbility to pass DOT physical exam5 years' experience driving/delivering petroleum productsExcellent customer service skillsFlexibility to work in in a 24/7 - 365 day a year operation that includes day and night shiftsAbility to sit for 30 minutes to upwards of 2 hours while drivingAbility to stand for 30 minutes to 1 hour while unloading vehicleAbility to walk to and from the vehicle (50 to 300 feet at one time)High School Diploma or equivalent preferredWe want to hear from you!Do you like to solve problems and consider yourself forward thinking?
