Role: SRE Delivery Manager

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Site Reliability Engineers, ensuring they have the tools, resources, and skills needed to meet operational goals.
Service Delivery: Oversee the successful delivery of SRE services, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance.
Incident & Problem Management: Manage and coordinate incident response efforts, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to services. Lead post-mortem analysis and implement improvements.
Process Automation & Optimization: Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, enhance system performance, and improve operational efficiency using best-in-class tools and methodologies.
Collaboration & Communication: Serve as the bridge between engineering, development, and operations teams to ensure smooth, coordinated efforts across projects and day-to-day operations.
Monitoring & Performance: Establish key metrics and monitoring strategies to proactively detect issues and ensure system uptime and availability.
Change Management: Oversee changes to infrastructure and services, ensuring compliance with change management processes and minimal risk to system operations.
Capacity Planning: Conduct capacity planning to ensure systems can scale with growing demand, providing recommendations for infrastructure improvements.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with external partners and stakeholders, ensuring high-quality service delivery and contract adherence.
Experience:
8+ years of experience in IT operations, with at least 4 years in an SRE, DevOps, or similar role.
3+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role within a technology environment.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
Deep understanding of Linux/Unix environments and networking.
Solid grasp of software development and systems architecture.
